Bodo Sbrzesny was born 17.08.79 in Bruchsal, Germany. He is now living in the sunny part of the World – in Australia on the Gold Coast. He always loved to play card and strategy games. He was not good at school but did well on the tennis court as a semi-pro player and a really good coach. On the evening he liked to play the tactical first person shooter in the computer game ”Counterstrike” where he was responsible for the tactical part.
He has been playing poker since the end of 2005. After he noticed the possible sucess with poker he quit nearly all stuff beside and focused on poker only. After playing an aggressiv BRM (bank-roll-management) he had to deposit 3 times. After he changed from fixed-limit to no-limit he climbed up the limits very fast. Nowadays many people play the abc-poker which they learn from books, articles etc, but Bodo managed to learn by himself through analyse the different options during a hand.
Today Bodo is the first German player in the Team of PartyPoker and proud to represent this site on the upcomming events. His loyality to this site and the famous attempt on the poker TV show “THE POKER DEN / THE BIG GAME” brought him into the Team. Especially his fearless plays against the well known pros like Phil Laak, Neil Channing, Juha Helpi, Robert Williamson III, Barny Boatman, Jennifer Tilly and Ronald de Wolfe who got bluffed by Bodo from 72o impressed the audience.
Also his performance on the World Open V against Andy Black, Luke Schwartz, Mike Sexton and many other pros was amazing. Bodo came in 4th for 30.000$ and managed to NOT bust with AA in the early stage against a set! In a sit and go this is a really crazy read
Bodo already coached a few friends and it worked very well. He is a really good poker teacher who understand to help people in an easy way. Sure, nobody can learn poker in just a few hours but you can learn to think about the game and the way to improve it. After learning the “abc-part” most people have problems to get better, Bodo could be your solution…
